Like clockwork, after the revelation of CoD Black Ops: Annihilation map pack for Xbox 360 last month, its PS3 release date is now officially announced by the PSBlog today and it will rollout on July 28 – exactly a month after Xbox 360’s release just like we expected. Predicted cost will be 15 bucks.
For those who are unaware, Activision and Microsoft has a tied-up before in terms of releasing DLCs for its titles and this one is expected to last for three years; this is the reason why Xbox 360 users will always receive any CoD titles ahead than PS3 or PC and we believe this mantra will be passed on Modern Warfare 3 as well.

Going back to the PS3 Annihilation Map Pack, its still the same DLC containing four maps – Hazard, Drive-In, Silo and Hangar 18 – including the Shangri-La zombie map.
In our previous report, we revealed a complete tutorial to jumpstart your way on Shangri-La including ways to complete its Easter Egg quest, complete the Time Will Tell Achievement along with some possible cheats that you may face along the road.
Naturally, we expect this PS3 map pack to be 100% similar with other platform but just in case you find some differences, feel free to hit us with a comment below!
Take note, Activision confirmed last month that a fourth map pack will be revealed, rumored to be called as “Retaliation” and it should be the last DLC before the debut of MW3 on November.
